Here are some fun tips to help you energize your creativity, from my recent class: Writing from the Heart: Developing Your Writer’s Intuition.
1) Change your scenery. New objects in the room or even a new room can stimulate new ideas. Take a few minutes to clean off your desk, or bring in some fresh flowers from your garden.
2) Play. Crayons are on Back-To-School sale. Get some and have some fun!
3) Laugh. Laughter is a high-energy vibration. And it helps you be in that magical place where you can hear your creative Voice. Even when you’re writing about serious things.
4) Pay attention to your senses — sight, sound, and touch. Your senses stimulate your creativity. Descriptive sensory detail enhances your writing…and it also boosts your creative energy. Describe the feel of a breeze, the texture of a rock or a tree trunk, the way a person moves or how he sounds.
5) Always carry something to capture your creative ideas — pen and paper, voice recorder, video camera. Ideas can come to you anytime and anywhere — if you let them. They’ll come in more frequently if you have a system in place to collect them.

Speaking to many different people or maybe someone who wasn’t so close to you. Looking at the sky can calm mind and make us feel better. Seeing our photos in the past. Take a bath wasn’t a bad idea too.
