Ever notice that when you’re stressed out, tired, or upset, EVERYTHING gets harder to do?
Funny thing, but when I’m in that state of mind and energy, I make mistakes. Things take longer. Sometimes I get upset at people. Or maybe I’ll drop something, or do something that hurts. Ever done that?
I’m grinning right now because we all do it. Especially when times are tough. Especially when we get stressed. Which makes tough stressful times even harder to manage, doesn’t it?
Here’s another one: ever notice that when you do something fun, then come back to your “serious” project, it gets easier? Often it gets done faster, with less effort. And what seemed like a mountain winds up being a molehill.
There’s a lot in our world we can’t control. But one thing we can control is our state of mind. And that one thing can make a huge difference in your life. Change your state of mind, and everything changes. “I can’t” becomes “I can.” Opportunities often appear that didn’t seem to be there just moments before (they were, but you just didn’t see them).
